Delete your Modern Woodsman account

You may use this page to request permanent deletion of your Modern Woodsman account and the personal data associated with it.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Modern Woodsman does not offer deletion of selected data while keeping an account active.

Important: Subscriptions and Refunds

Deleting your Modern Woodsman account is not a request to cancel a subscription and does not automatically issue a refund.

If you have an active subscription, cancel it through the platform or billing provider where you purchased it before submitting this deletion request:

Google Play. Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play.
Apple App Store. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings.
Direct purchase from Modern Woodsman. Manage your subscription by contacting support@modernwoodsman.ai.

Refund requests are separate from account-deletion requests and are handled under the applicable purchase platform's policies and applicable law.

What We Delete

After we verify that you control the account and approve the request, Modern Woodsman will delete your account and personal data associated with it, including, as applicable:

Account profile information and account identifiers
Account credentials and authentication-related records
Uploaded photos, videos, and other media
Wildlife observations, deer-scoring entries, notes, and saved records
Property, camera, stand, location, tag, and preference data
Account-linked AI analysis results, classifications, and annotations
Notification settings and account-level preferences
Other content and records directly associated with your account

Limited Data We May Retain

We may retain limited information only when necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, accounting, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements.

Examples may include transaction and payment records, records needed to prevent fraud or abuse, and limited technical logs. We retain this information only for as long as necessary for the stated purpose or for the period required by applicable law.

Data contained in secure backups may remain until the applicable backup-retention cycle ends. Backup data is not used to restore an active account after deletion except when necessary for security, disaster recovery, or legal obligations.
